Local-First Architecture

Engineering design philosophy emphasizing offline resilience, deterministic performance, and zero cloud vendor lock-in.

Why Local-First Infrastructure?

Modern game development involves hundreds of gigabytes of high-fidelity 3D assets, textures, and builds. Relying entirely on remote cloud servers introduces massive bandwidth bottlenecks, security risks, and ongoing SaaS subscriptions.

Key Tenets of Run2Go Systems

  • 100% Offline Air-Gapped: Systems operate without active internet. Complete privacy and zero external telemetry.
  • Direct LAN Synchronization: Workstation-to-workstation communication with gigabit throughput (UDP 5051 beacon discovery and TCP 5050 Smart HTTP/LFS).
  • Deterministic Silicon Performance: Low-level native code (.NET 10 WPF BCL, Unity Burst/Job System) optimized directly for silicon.
  • Zero Supply-Chain Bloat: Minimal external dependencies, preventing supply-chain vulnerabilities and unneeded runtime bloat.
